Two other images hi-light the adventurous spirit of our residents. Stand up paddle boarding in Cowichan Bay (below) and tubbing the Cowichan River in Lake Cowichan.(below right)
the beautiful Cowichan Valley
This was one of the info boards created for Catalyst Paper in Crofton (right) for a presentation given in Lake Cowichan. They purchased eight images to be used to hi light the beauty of the Cowichan Lake area.
I was happy to do a half page photo spread from the 2014 Duncan Summer Festival Parade.
It was in the July 16, 2014 issue of
The Cowichan News Leader Pictorial.
I was listed as one of the Cowichan Valleys best photographers by
HQ Best Of Cowichan Valley
It has certainly been a great year for me, being picked up as a photographer/reporter for the Cowichan Valley region by
Island Sports News,
covering this years Lake Days Events in Lake Cowichan for the

Then the icing on the cake, today
(June 6, 2013) I find I am one of 8 local photographers in the nominated for best Cowichan Valley Photographer in 2013.
( My face hurts from smiling. )
Malcolm Chalmers voted third in the Cowichan Valley
