I lost my sunglasses at one stop but luckily I noticed them missing the next stop and drove back the 1/2 mile for them. Even more luck was I didn't back over them where I had dropped them on the ground.
I wanted to inform them about our troubles at the we had at the border even after confirming we could take a rental car into Canada so I asked for a manager.
Before I could say anything Teddi tore a strip off the guy. She expressed her displeasure at having our visit to Nova Scotia canceled because we couldn't take the rental car into Canada. The two days of travel we wasted getting there and back and the scene at the border.
To my great surprise the guy said he would not charge us for the weeks rental of the car and apologized for the trouble.
Really all I wanted was to make sure that they fix it with the Canadian Customs so people can cross into Canada. Just paperwork? Hope that gets done.
and Linda's (the drop you off part).
That left us standing outside the razor-wired fenced compound across from a chop shop in a kinda' rough section of Brooklyn. Fortunately after hearing Linda tell John "They are by themselves in a bad section of town" John was able to come and get us quickly.
I could have forgiven them not having video monitors on the short flight to Philly but not on the cross country to Seattle. The plane was packed, it was a miserable flight mostly in the dark.
Seated next to us was this "Big African American dude" that was scared to death of dogs. He almost jumped out of his seat a couple of times as buddy moved around. We felt real bad for him but they wouldn't move him or us.
Jet Blue flight I took from Seattle (and they didn't have a $25 dollar charge for each stowed bag). Go Jet Blue!
